About Dr. Robert Joel Cain
Pastor • Author • Ordained Minister

Dr. Robert Joel Cain is an evangelical pastor, author, and ordained minister whose ministry is firmly grounded in Scripture and the principles of faith. As Pastor of Word of Faith Wordship Center in Spring Lake, North Carolina, he is committed to helping individuals develop an active, enduring trust in Jesus Christ and apply biblical truth to every area of life.

Dr. Cain is married to Rolisha Cain. Together, they share a commitment to faith, family, ministry, and service to the people of God.

Community Ministry

Dr. Cain has served as a source of spiritual strength and encouragement to families throughout North Carolina. He is especially known for delivering “Words of Comfort” during funeral and memorial services, offering compassionate biblical guidance to individuals and families experiencing grief and loss.

His ministry has reached congregations, families, and community members in Fayetteville and surrounding areas, including Wilson and Dunn, North Carolina. Through preaching, teaching, and community service, he has become a respected spiritual presence to those seeking hope, comfort, and direction.

Author of Faith Unleashed

Dr. Cain is the author of Faith Unleashed, a practical guide to living a life of active and unwavering faith. The book encourages readers to anchor their confidence in Jesus Christ during seasons of recession, oppression, depression, adversity, and personal uncertainty.

At the heart of his message is the belief that faith is not merely an emotion or temporary response. It is a deliberate and authoritative choice to believe God, speak His Word, and live in agreement with His promises.

The Transforming Power of Faith

Dr. Cain teaches that choosing to believe and boldly confess the Word of God pleases the Lord, strengthens the believer, and helps break spiritual strongholds and personal barriers. His ministry emphasizes active belief, faith-filled speech, biblical obedience, and the consistent planting of seeds of faith through the Word of God.

His central message is clear: faith must be practiced, spoken, and lived. Through this approach, believers are encouraged to overcome adversity, grow spiritually, and experience a continual life of hope, strength, and victory in Jesus Christ.

“Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind.” I Peter 5:2 KJV
Our Foundation

What We Believe

Our doctrine is rooted in the Holy Scriptures and centered on the saving work of Jesus Christ.

The Inspiration and Authority of Scripture

We believe in the plenary, verbal inspiration of the original writings of the sixty-six books of the Bible, the Word of God, and that it is the complete revelation of God’s will for man, the supreme and final authority in all matters of faith and practice.

II Timothy 3:16–17 • II Peter 1:20–21 • Jude 1:3

Repentance, Baptism, and the New Birth

We believe in repentance, water baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and the receiving of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance, according to Acts 2:38 and Acts 2:4.

We believe this constitutes the new birth as recorded in St. John 3:1–8 and must be followed by a life of sanctification and holiness by those who will be ready for the imminent and glorious appearing of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Acts 2:4 • Acts 2:38 • St. John 3:1–8

Holy Living and Christian Separation

We believe that all the saved should live in such a manner as not to bring reproach upon their Savior; and that separation from religious apostasy, worldly and sinful pleasures, practices, and associations is commanded of God.

Romans 12:1 • Romans 14:13, 21 • II Corinthians 6:14–17 • II Timothy 3:1–5 • I John 2:15–17 • II John 1:9–11
Called to Serve

Our Standards for Leadership

Leadership at Word of Faith is a sacred trust. Those who serve are expected to demonstrate biblical character, spiritual maturity, modesty, faithfulness, and a life worthy of the gospel.

1

Servant Leadership

Leadership is not a position for personal glory. It is a calling to serve with humility, compassion, prayer, and a sincere concern for God’s people.

“But whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister.” — Mark 10:43 KJV
2

A Holy Example

Leaders should model good works, sound doctrine, integrity, reverence, and conduct that gives others a clear example to follow.

“In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works...” — Titus 2:7 KJV
3

Blameless Character

Leaders must be spiritually watchful, self-controlled, orderly, hospitable, and committed to maintaining a good testimony.

“A bishop then must be blameless, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour...” — I Timothy 3:2 KJV
4

Godly Speech and Conduct

Leaders are expected to speak with wisdom, avoid gossip and strife, and demonstrate charity, faith, purity, and Christian maturity.

“Be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” — I Timothy 4:12 KJV
5

Faithfulness and Accountability

Leaders should be dependable, teachable, punctual, prepared, and accountable to pastoral authority and the responsibilities entrusted to them.

“Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.” — I Corinthians 4:2 KJV
6

Modest Apparel

Leaders are expected to dress in modest apparel that honors Christ, reflects dignity, and does not draw inappropriate attention to the body. Clothing should be neat, clean, appropriate, and respectful of the ministry setting.

“In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety...” — I Timothy 2:9 KJV
These standards are intended to preserve unity, honor the house of God, protect the witness of the church, and help every leader serve with excellence and humility.
